Today is an interesting day for college football fans. If you're like me, you can't get enough of the pre-season buzz from ESPN and other media as the expert analysts attempt to be prophetic about the result of the season. I had to laugh just recently when I watched Lou Holtz and others attempting to make a forecast about who would win the national championship game between USC and LSU, as if the video game in between the 2 groups was already scheduled. The national championship game is four months away. With a full season of football ahead of us, anything can occur. The result of the college football season is a permutation that includes a lot of unmeasureable and unpredictable aspects, such as a team's motivation for any specific video game, injuries, clutch training choices, referee calls, and so much more. One of the most welcoming aspects of college football is the understanding that fans and individuals alike are opting for a ride that has more question marks than prepared answers.
